May luma ka bang mga manika? (Hindi 'yung barbie.) Yung di mo na kailangan. Yung manika na pinutol mo yung kamay o kaya yung paa sa sobrang inis mo sa kapatid mong lalaki. Yung sinaksak mo yung mata ng lapis. Yung pinutol mo yung ulo. Yung sobrang balot na ng alikabok. Yung kapag nakita mo eh maaalala mo yung mga kaaway mo noong bata ka pa. Yung manikang nginatngat na ng aso o kaya ng pusa. Yung manikang nabuhusan mo ng sabaw, madugyot, o kaya nilamutakan ng spaghetti ng mas nakababata mong kapatid. Yung binigay sa 'yo ng boyfriend mo tapos nag-break kayo dahil may third party. (Huwag mong isauli, ibigay mo na lang sa 'kin.) Yung ibinigay mo sa girlfriend mo tapos ibinalik sa 'yo at ayaw mo nang makita dahil nadudurog lalo ang puso mo. Yung napulot mo lang sa kung saan-saan. The New Anthology of Poetry in the Bikol Languages

CONTRIBUTIONS are now accepted for The New Anthology of Poetry in the Bikol Languages. Contributions shall be unpublished poems exploring the theme "Bikolnón na agimadmád (Bikol consciousness)"—memories, experiences, realities, images, and other aspects of being a Bikolano. Contributions shall be in any of the Bikol languages, with corresponding translations in English. Editors however, shall have the discretion to edit translations. Each contributor may submit one to three entries; and a short bionote. The anthology will be edited by Kristian S. Cordero, Marne L. Kilates, and Victor Dennis T. Nierva.
